What Is Glutathione?

HELIX TeamPublished 5 min read

Glutathione is a small molecule made up of three amino acids, naturally produced in cells throughout the body.

This article is a general, educational overview. It is not medical advice and does not describe how any HELIX product affects your body.

What glutathione is

Glutathione is sometimes called the body's 'master antioxidant' in popular writing, though the body also produces and recycles it on its own.

It is widely discussed in nutrition contexts, and glutathione is available as a dietary supplement ingredient in several forms, including oral strips, capsules and liquids.

Glutathione as a supplement ingredient

HELIX Glutathione strips are an oral dissolvable strip dietary supplement, each strip formulated at 100 mg, with 30 strips per package.

As with any dietary supplement, the amount, form and intended use are described on the product's Supplement Facts label — not in marketing copy.
